Steps to Enroll for Co-op Internship Only Students

Welcome new Lane co-op interns!! We're happy you have chosen to enroll in Lane Community College's Cooperative Education program. In the following Steps to Enroll, you will embark on the road to successfully fulfilling your academic and career dreams!

These steps are for students looking to add an internship, but who are not already Lane students. If you're already a Lane student, connect directly with the Cooperative Education department.

Complete the required Lane Admissions Application

Once you complete your application, you'll receive a confirmation email. You can then log into the admissions portal to check the status of your application and see your next steps. Once your application has been processed, you'll receive your L-Number (Student ID Number) and student email. You'll need your L Number to complete the rest of the admissions steps. Start a new application or Log into the admissions portal

  • On the application under Planned Course of Study select "internship only courses"
  • If you can't apply for the current term, apply for the next term and notify your Co-op Coordinator  that they need to contact student records to have your application backdated.

Contact your Co-op Coordinator

Your Co-op Coordinator must approve your internship and release you to register for their specific co-op internship course

Register for Classes in myLane

That's it! You're ready to Register for the appropriate co-op / internship course in myLane. Log into myLane to register for your classes. 

If you’re unable to register, first check to see if you have any holds. Log into myLane, select “myEnrollment”, then “Registration, Class Schedule, and Books”, and then select “When can I register”
