Nurse practitioners work in a variety of settings, including: Primary Care, Family Practice, Family Medicine, Emergency/Urgent Care, Women's Health, School Health, and other specialty care. Nurse Practitioners in the State of Oregon work independently, without doctor supervision but rather, collaborate with Physicians as a joint health team or through resource and referral.
