Advisory committees play a critical role in the operation of Lane Community College's professional-technical programs. Through their members, they provide a cross-section of expertise and experience to effectively influence the direction and momentum of Lane's programs.
The Media Arts Advisory Committee
In Media Arts, our committee brings together local industry leaders from advertising, graphic design, sound design, audio/video production, web design, publishing, photography, and arts education. By also including local high school partners and current students in our programs, the committee creates a direct bridge from education to employment. Together, these members ensure our curriculum stays ahead of industry trends, guide our funding decisions, and build a stronger creative workforce for Lane County.
