Getting to Eugene, Oregon in Three Easy Steps:
Step 1: Booking a Flight
Book a flight with your final destination: Eugene (EUG) Airport. Please plan to arrive on the scheduled housing move-in dates. If you plan to arrive early or outside of our arrival times, you need to make arrangements to stay in a hotel.
Step 2: Arrival Information
If you submitted your arrival information our team will be at the Eugene (EUG) Airport to pick you up on designated arrival days. We will need the following information two weeks before you arrive:
- Date of Arrival
- Time of Arrival
- Flight Number
- Airline Name
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee airport pick up if you do not provide this information in a timely manner.
Step 3: Airport Pick up
The above photo shows where the International Housing Team will be located inside of the airport (if you arrive on the designated arrival date(s) between the hours of 8am-8pm) Please be sure to look for our welcome sign.
Airport pick up is arranged for international students who apply for Titan Court housing. If you arrive on the official move-in dates, between 8am -8pm, our team will pick you up from the Eugene(EUG) Airport.
If you arrive outside of these hours you will need to make arrangements to take a taxi from the airport to stay in a hotel. If you email lanehousing@lanecc.edu your hotel information, we will pick-you up from your hotel lobby at 11am the following morning. Here is a list of the hotels we suggest.
Any changes to your flight such as a missed flight or delayed flight must be provided to our team immediately. One week before your arrival, we will invite you to join our WhatsApp group. Message us in the WhatsApp group to communicate on arrival days regarding flight changes.
If You Are Not Arriving on Arrival Days
There is no airport pick-up between 8pm and 8am on any day. If you arrive on a different date or time than the above, you will need to arrange your own transportation from the airport. Learn all about the transportation options from Eugene (EUG) Airport. The most popular is taxi and rideshare companies (Uber and Lyft).
Relatives Traveling With You
We understand that family may want to travel with you during this exciting time. If your relative is traveling with you, they will need to make hotel arrangements during their stay here in Eugene, as we are unable to accommodate them in student housing. Please inform us ahead of your arrival if relatives will be arriving with you, so that we can assist with alternative transportation options if necessary.
Arriving in Portland(PDX) Airport
We do not suggest that your final flight destination be Portland(PDX) Airport as it is a 2.5 hour trip. However, if you choose to do so you will want to take the Amtrak train or bus to Eugene, Oregon. We do not provide transportation from PDX or the Eugene train/bus station. Students are responsible for securing their own transportation.
Don't Need Airport Pick-Up?
If you have indicated you do not need an airport pick-up and will find your way to Titan Court student housing on your own, please arrive on the designated arrival date(s) between the hours of 8am-5pm. Our Housing team will welcome you in the lobby of Titan Court and assist you to your room.
