KLCC

KLCC 89.7 FM is a listener-supported, independent public radio service of Lane Community College. We are a charter member of National Public Radio (NPR) and provide NPR's national and international news coverage along with top programs from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).

We've grown from humble beginnings in LCC's engineering department to our state-of-the-art downtown location with more than 65,000 listeners each week. And, we've maintained true to our roots of providing innovative, diverse, quality programming that strives to reflect and serve the needs of the community.

KLCC is the primary news service for much of our listening area which extends south to Roseburg, west to the central Oregon coast, east to Bend, and north to Salem.

KLCC is a "radio classroom" delivering the topics, issues, music, and educational experiences that prompt community discussion, engagement, and awareness.

Our award-winning, local content is provided throughout the day, including in-depth news features about significant issues and events in the Eugene area and surrounding region as well as engaging arts and culture interviews and live studio performances.
