What you’ll learn

Our one-year Baking & Pastry program brings you the education, skills, and experience of our Culinary Arts program, but with a specialized focus, so you'll be ready to enter the baking industry.

1-year certificate

Whether you want to work in restaurants, bakeries, management, nutrition, or teaching, the Baking & Pastry program will give you the fundamental skills of culinary arts and the specialized techniques of making pastries and other baked goods.

AFTER LANE

Completing your Baking & Pastry Certificate will show your future employers that you're serious about a career in food and that you have the experience necessary to be an asset in a bakeshop. Many of our graduates have gone on to work in or start their own restaurants and food carts around Lane County.

Specialize your skills and hone your interests through stackable certificates! These certificates can be earned while pursuing your degree, or all on their own. Contact your advisor or the office of admissions to learn more.
