These are concerns you will need information about at different points in your education. It's smart to think about scholarships early on in the program or even before you start; but you won't need to think about testing until your final terms.

Scholarships

The Continuing Education Department does offer a small scholarship twice per year; the typical award amount is $300. For more on applying for this, and for information on other ways to finance your education, click to see the FAQs.

Testing

The Oregon Board of Massage Therapists requires that all applicants for licensure pass an online jurisprudence exam as well as a written exam known as the MBLEx (the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam), administered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards. Click for more information!

The LCC Mary Spilde Downtown Center is across from the main bus station and there is abundant parking in the surrounding blocks. Massage program students can also have their parking coupons validated at the Titan Book Store or the Continuing Education counter. Only parking tickets from Overpark at 10th Avenue & Oak Street, or the Parcade at 7th & 8th Avenues at Willamette Street, can be validated.
