Deadline
The Momentum Scholarship application is open through Winter '27 term. Submit your application once you register for your first math or writing course and we'll follow you through completion of your second math or writing course. If you are currently taking your second math or writing course, be sure to apply before the end of term.
Award Amount
A one-time $500 scholarship
Eligibility Requirements
- Take your math and writing courses in Summer '26, Fall '26 or Winter '27.
- Complete two math or two writing courses, earning a C- or better.
- ABSE students who have successfully completed two terms of math or writing skill-building courses are encouraged to apply! Scholarship awards apply toward credit-level tuition based courses.
Application Instructions
- Meet with an academic advisor within the 2026-2027 academic year to develop an Individual Academic Plan (IAP) mapping your math and writing courses per term. NOTE: IAP not required if you're applying while taking 2nd eligible course.
- Please be sure you are logged into your Lane student Gmail before accessing this application.
Notes
- Applications will be date & time stamped upon submission. Scholarships are given on a first-in basis and funds are limited.
- Because the Lane Foundation generously sponsors the Momentum Scholarship, students who are currently receiving a Lane Foundation Scholarship Award are not eligible to apply for the Momentum Scholarship.
Disbursement
You will be notified via your Lane student email and $500 will be applied to your Lane account for your next term's registration!
