Momentum Scholarship

Stay on-track with your math and/or writing requirements!

Deadline

The Momentum Scholarship is an on-going application. Students are encouraged to apply when registering for their first credit math or writing course, and we'll follow you through completion of your second math or writing course!

Award Amount

A one-time $500 scholarship 

Eligibility Requirements

• Successfully complete two math or two writing courses, earning a C- or better (for courses requiring letter grades) within the 2025-26 academic year: Summer '25, Fall '25, Winter '26, Spring '26.
• ABSE students who have successfully completed two terms of math or writing skill-building courses are encouraged to apply!  Scholarship awards apply toward credit-level tuition based courses.  

Application Instructions

1. Meet with an academic advisor within the 2025-2026 academic year to develop an Individual Academic Plan (IAP) mapping your math and writing courses per term.
2. Please be sure you are logged into your Lane student Gmail before accessing this application.

Notes

• Applications will be date & time stamped upon submission. Scholarships are given on a first-in basis and funds are limited. If you are awarded the scholarship, you will be notified via your Lane student email and $500 will be applied to your Lane account for your next term's registration!
• If you are a Foundation Scholarship Award Recipient, you may not be eligible for the Momentum Scholarship.
