On this website, you will find information about Asian and Pacific Islander American Rites of Passage Program (APIAROP) services at Lane Community College. This service is reflective of Lane's current Diversity Plan, Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Strategic Plans for the College.
The Asian and Pacific Islander American Student Program Coordinator is located in the Conception Connie Mesquita Multicultural Center located in Building 1 inside Room 201.
The Asian and Pacific Islander Student Program supports students at Lane Community College. The program's goals are to help students make a smooth transition in navigating college life. The program helps students identify available resources, provides follow-up services, and offers a variety of opportunities to learn about Asian and Pacific Islander culture, values, and traditions.
Resources:
- Referral services for academic, personal and career counseling
- Group social interaction through campus events and student engagement
- Sponsorship and support for student organizations on campus for Asian and Pacific Islander American students
- Liaison between students and local education programs
The program coordinator serves as an on-campus advocate for the students between admissions, financial aid, Lane faculty, and other departments. In addition, the program provides information on the availability of appropriate scholarships.

The Multicultural Center Office hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Friday during Fall Term 2024.
Additional APISU Advising hours (including evenings/weekends) via Zoom. Email your APISU advisor for available days and times.
Note: LCC is closed on Fridays during summer term.
