What Is College Now?

College Now is a high school–based accelerated learning program created through partnerships between Lane County secondary schools and Lane Community College (LCC). You offer students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school—at no cost to them. For more than 20 years, the program has supported students in successfully preparing for and completing postsecondary education.

Why College Now?

Through College Now, you help students explore careers, connect with LCC programs, and build confidence through college-level coursework. The program strengthens collaboration between high school teachers and college instructors, creates smoother educational pathways, and reduces duplicated coursework once students enter college. Students earn transcripted LCC credits that may transfer, gain access to LCC resources like library databases and online tutoring, and save significantly on college costs—while helping your school meet state college-credit requirements.
