Lane PTA Program Partnership with Rogue Community College
Lane Community College (LCC) has partnered with Rogue Community College (RCC) in offering a distant learning site so students residing in southern Oregon can attend PTA laboratory classes at the RCC-Table Rock campus in White City, Oregon. All program students are Lane students and are offered the same program of study, including online lecture courses, laboratory practice at their designated campus (Eugene or Table Rock), and clinical education.
Students who attend the distant learning site pay an additional $1000 fee each term that includes a lab, totaling $5000 in additional fees.
Prerequisite courses to apply are offered at both the RCC and LCC campuses. Students should consult with a program adviser at email@example.com and with RCC adviser Shannon VanLehn, at SVanLehn@roguecc.edu for academic planning.
There is one PTA program application used for all prospective students. Qualified students with a Jackson or Josephine country residence are prioritized for admission to the distant learning site. More information about the selective admission process, including deadlines, visit the PTA Application Information page
The LCC-RCC partnership currently serves students admitted to the program on or before fall 2020. The partnership is reviewed annually by both LCC and RCC. Business and healthcare agencies that are interested in advocating for a continued PTA partnership between LCC and RCC should contact the program coordinator, Christina Howard, firstname.lastname@example.org
