Welcome back to the LCC Florence Center!
The pandemic has surprised us multiple times over the past many months, but we are planning to be back with several exciting classes for winter term. And in fact, now that we’ve all become more accustomed to Zoom and finding our way online, we will have more options than ever!
For example, we have new quilting classes and an exciting black-and-white digital photo workshop coming your way via Zoom — and of course Zoom means both that you can participate from the comfort of your own home and that you can “timeshift” if necessary.
If you’re craving social interaction, like me, you’ll be happy to know that Yoga, Stretch & Strengthen, Qigong and our ever-popular Move It or Lose It classes will be back in person on our campus. We will also host classes on arthritis relief and “Primary Food”—which has much more to do with how we live a happy and integrated life than what we put on our plates. And of course our fabulous clay classes return, too.
It is still impossible to plan Outward Ventures with any assurance, but keep your fingers crossed that we will be able to start offering our well-loved day trips again spring term; meanwhile, I look forward to seeing you in Zoom or live and in-person classes on campus this winter term.
