Lane Community College is dedicated to supporting students acutely affected by the pandemic, including those who have not previously been eligible for CARES relief. We are grateful to have received additional funding from the Governor's Emergency Education Relief Fund (GEER) that enables us to continue this pursuit.
Who is it for:
This funding is available and intended for underrepresented and low income students affected by COVID-19 and not those affected solely by other disasters such as wildfires. Students who are currently enrolled at Lane Community College who do not qualify for financial aid are welcome to apply.
What is it for:
Students may use this funding to meet immediate financial needs (housing, food, child care, technology) that can enable them to stay enrolled in postsecondary education. We sincerely hope this opportunity to support learners like yourself will promote resiliency during this extended period of remote learning, and keep our students connected to higher education.
How to apply:
Please complete this application form by the priority deadline of Friday February 12th, 2021.
