Steps to Enroll

1 - Application

Step 1 - Admissions Application

Welcome to Lane! Start by submitting your application at least six business days before the start of your session. If you’re applying for winter, submit your application before 9:00 am Wednesday, January 5th.

Once you complete your application, you'll receive a confirmation email. Within one to three business days you'll receive your L Number (Student ID Number) and a temporary password. You'll need your L Number to complete the rest of the steps.

Complete the Admissions Application

To be eligible for financial aid, complete the FAFSA. Apply early, as it can take 4-12 weeks to process aid awards once all documents have been received.

2 - Placement

Step 2 - Course Placement

Course Placement can help you ensure you’re successful in your classes. Students are able to use your high school GPA, prior college courses, AP, or IB scores, Smarter Balance scores, or other measures to determine your placement. Some students may have the additional option of a placement test to help determine an appropriate math and writing placement. You may be able to complete your course placement and New Student Orientation on the same day online. You'll need to complete this step for winter by 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 5th.
