Noncredit Fees and Expenses

Books/Materials for Continuing Education Classes: Books for each class are listed at the end of each class description only if a text is required. If a class requires a book, see the “Books for Continuing Ed” page.

Cost of Continuing Education Classes: Costs for Community Education classes are assessed as fees and are listed in the Continuing Education online course schedule. See Continuing Education for additional information.

Transportation Fee: Students taking credit classes on the main campus, as well as Adult Basic and Secondary Ed/GED or ESL students taking classes at the main campus or at downtown Mary Spilde Center are assessed a $27 transportation fee per term. This fee pays for expenses related to parking lot maintenance and security, as well as providing these students with an LTD bus pass for the term. This fee has been waived for fall term 2020. This fee has been reduced to $10 per term for winter term 2021.
