LCC Board of Education and Budget Committee meetings May 1

EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Board of Education and Budget Committee will meet Wednesday, May 1, 2024, in the LCC Boardroom,  building 3, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene. The meetings will also be accessible via Lane’s event streaming page.

The Budget Committee meeting will be called to order at 5:00 p.m. The committee will elect a chair and vice chair, review the proposed 2024-25 budget document, accept public comment, and submit information requests as needed. The next meeting of the Budget Committee will be held on Wednesday, May 8 at 5:00 p.m. View Budget Committee information online.

The Board of Education meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m., in the same location. Key discussion and action items include: Student Activity Fees, Application Deposits, Student Health Clinic, Technology Fees, One Time Credit Enrollment Fees, Pre-Construction Services Contract for Building 16 Improvements, Procurement of Equipment for Health Professions Building, and a FY24 Third Quarter Financial Update. Public comment will be accepted at both meetings and may be voiced in person or via Zoom. To submit comment via Zoom, advance registration is required. A confirmation email will be sent containing instructions to join the webinar. 

Following the work session, the Board may meet in Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations, ORS 192.660(2)(h) Legal Counsel, ORS 192.660(2)(e) Real Property Transactions, ORS 192.660(2)(f) Exempt Information, ORS 192.660(2)(o) - safety and security, and/or ORS 192.660(2)(p) - cybersecurity.
