Avant PLACE Spanish/French Waiver Testing
Steps to take the test
Before you sign up for the test: apply online to Lane Community College to become a Lane student. After completing your online admissions, you will receive an email with your Lane ID number (L#).
Testing appointment: Testing is on a first-come, first-serve, walk-in basis and is contingent on availability of space (Standard placement testing has priority, more availability earlier in the term). Currently, testing slots are only available on placement testing days (Tu, Th, F). Please arrive at 10 AM or 1:30 PM to check in. From week 10 on, placement testing days are M-F, but due to high volume of standard placement testing, we may not be able to accommodate you.
The Testing Department is located in Building 1, Room 116 at Lane Community College Main Campus, 4000 East 30th Avenue, Eugene, OR.
- After testing, to receive placement information, please see the LCC office in the Center Building (CEN 457).
