NOTE: Proctored testing for Lane Community College courses (Instructional Testing Services) is located in the center building, Room 311.
The college staff use tests as one of several counseling/advising tools, not merely as a record of performance. We provide all students an opportunity to discuss their test results with a counselor/advisor who will assist them in exploring the meaning and implications of their test results.
Students who wish to take vocational interest surveys and personality inventories need to see a counselor to determine if a test is desirable and to get a referral. Students do not need a referral, however, to take GED tests, screening exams conducted for various departments, nor the placement tests for reading, writing and math.
How to find us:
The Testing Office is located in Room 116, Building 1 (the Student Services Building).
Building #1 is on the west side of the campus near the bus station. If you are standing at the bus station looking at the campus, you will see Building 1 to your right. It has a large lobby with big windows and a curved roof like a ski jump.
Go in the building and walk through the lobby on the first floor. The Testing Office is near the elevator; you will see signs to the Testing Office.
