Application Information

Due to the coronavirus, in an effort to minimize contact and protect all involved, the interview component of the 2020-2021 Dental Assisting application has been removed. Positions in the Fall 2020 program will be determined solely on the points outlined on the application point sheet.

Enrollment in this program is limited to 30 students per year.

  • Applicants must be Oregon residents or have F1 status.
  • Applicants must have a high school diploma or a GED by the start of Fall Term 2019.
  • Evidence of a physical examination (within the previous nine months), specific immunizations, and a background check must be provided prior to admission to the program. Details provided at the program orientation.
  • Program expenses including tuition plus differential pricing are approximately $7451. Required student uniform, student issue, lab fees, and National Exam fees can total an additional $4402, for this nine month program. For information about financial assistance, visit the Financial Aid Office.

New addition: Dental Clinic Observation hours for extra points: 6 hours observation in general dentistry clinic or specialty clinic. (This is highly recommended for 2020. In 2021, it will be an admission requirement.)

A second application period may open during summer term if positions in the program remain after spring applications. TBA."
