EUGENE, Ore. — Lane Community College Warming Center organizers invite people interested in volunteering to attend a new volunteer orientation and training on Tuesday, Dec. 19, from 6-8 p.m. at First Christian Church, 1166 Oak St., Eugene, sponsored by the Egan Warming Centers.

Interested volunteers should fill out the volunteer application on the Egan website at http://www.eganwarmingcenter.com under the volunteer tab. Orientation and training attendees should enter through the south door of the church and note that the parking lot behind and across the alley from the church is a pay-to-park lot open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

LCC works in partnership with Egan Warming Centers.

“We appreciate volunteers for their interest in helping provide a safe space to our guests in emergency weather,” says LCC Warming Center lead volunteer Dawn Rupp.
