LCC board to meet June 4

EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Board of Education will meet Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the LCC boardroom, building 3, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene. The meeting will also be accessible via Lane's event streaming page.

Key action and discussion items include: 

  • Public Hearing on FY 26 budget
  • Resolution for FY 26 budget adoption and appropriation
  • Resolution for imposing and categorizing taxes for FY26
  • Resolution for President’s annual authorizations
  • Resolution for budget transfer authorization
  • Student Government Association outgoing President recognition
  • Audit report
  • Campus climate and employee engagement survey results
  • Board retreat discussion

Testimony for the public hearing on the FY 25-26 budget and public comment will be accepted and may be voiced in person or via Zoom. To submit comments via Zoom, advanced registration is required. A confirmation email will be sent containing instructions to join the webinar. 

Prior to the meeting, the board will meet at 5:00 p.m. for an Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(d) to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to carry on labor negotiations and ORS 192.660(i) to review and evaluate the employment-related performance of the chief executive officer of any public body, a public officer, employee or staff member who does not request an open hearing.
