LCC Board of Education and Budget Committee to meet May 3

EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Board of Education and Budget Committee will meet Wednesday, May 3, in the main campus, building 19, room 102-104, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene. The meetings will also be accessible via Lane’s event streaming page.

The Budget Committee meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. The committee will elect a chair and vice chair, review the proposed 2022-23 budget document, accept public comment, and submit information requests as needed. The next meeting of the Budget Committee will be Wednesday, May 10 at 5:00 p.m. View more Budget Committee information online.

The Board of Education meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m., same location. Key discussion and action items include: approval of an Associate of Science Degree in Music; Student Activity Fee; Student Health Clinic; Supplemental Budget; Loan Request; Board Policy Review; Bond Oversight Committee update; and presentations about Target X/EAB and the Unmanned Aircraft Systems program.

Public comment will be accepted at both meetings and may be voiced in person or via Zoom. To submit comment via Zoom, advance registration is required. A confirmation email will be sent containing instructions to join the webinar. 

If necessary, following the meeting, the Board will meet in Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations, ORS 192.660(2)(h) Legal Counsel, ORS 192.660(2)(e) Real Property Transactions, and ORS 192.660(2)(f) Exempt Information.
