EUGENE, Ore.–  The Lane Community College Art Gallery is pleased to present the Annual Faculty Exhibition. The exhibit opened September 24 and will be on display through October 25 with a reception on Thursday, October 11, from 5-6:30 p.m. in the gallery, building 11, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene.

The exhibit features photographic works by Jon Meyers and Dan Welton alongside paintings by JS Bird, Adam Grosowsky, and Bob Devine.  Artist books by Susan Lowdermilk are showcased with graphic works by Kristie Potwora and Tom Madison. Ceramic pieces by Clara Lanyi and Jonathan Steele, the newest members of the Lane’s visual arts faculty, are included. Collaborative works from students and performing arts faculty Matt Svoboda, Brian Haimbach, Bonnie Simoa, Sarah Nemecek, and Jodi James are featured on computer screens and projection curtains. Ellen Tykeson’s collaborative project for LTD/EMX with other local artists is seen through examples of her steel panels featuring an otter and a slug, and is shown near fellow collaborator and sculptor Lee Imonen’s work made of bird’s eye maple and copper. Pieces by Carrie O’Coyle, Jan Halvorsen, and Kathleen Caprario round out this group show in a wide range of different mediums.
