EUGENE, Ore.— Lane Community College media arts instructor Damian McDonald will exhibit at the popular "Post-It Show" at the GR2 Gallery in Los Angeles from December 2 through 10.

“I’m so stoked to be a part of the show this year,” McDonald says.

“Post-It Show 13” will feature more than 400 artists and 3,000 Post-it® Note art pieces using 3”x 3” notes. Artists and illustrators from around the country and some from outside the U.S. are participating. Prominent artists from past shows include Matt Groening, Renee French, James Jean, Natalia Fabia, Rob Sato, Amy Sol, Gary Baseman, Audrey Kawasaki, Johnny "KMNDZ" Rodriguez, Gemma Correll, and others.

The gallery calls the show “the premier event featuring art on Post-it® Notes by everyone's favorite artists.” This is the 13th annual show. Last year’s opening day drew a line of about 100 people waiting to get in.

“It’s a popular show for collectors because each Post-It sells for only $25 and they have purchasing rules that help prevent mass purchasing of all post-its by one artist’s work,” says McDonald, “Last year apparently someone slept in front of the gallery overnight to get in early.”
