Local job seekers can meet and network directly with potential employers
EUGENE, Ore.– Lane Community College will hold its 29th Annual Job Fair on Thursday, May 16th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Center for Meeting and Learning in Building 19 on main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, Eugene.
This is a free event open to the public. Career and Employment Specialist Tina Hunter recommends that people come in professional attire as they would for a job interview and bring a resume. This is a great opportunity for all job seekers to meet and network with potential employers. Participants can also enter to win door prizes, including $100 gift certificates.
The goal of the fair is to bring together employers and job seekers from the college and the community. This year’s fair is sponsored by the KLSR-TV Oregon’s Fox, Eugene Area Radio Stations (EARS), Franz Family Bakeries, Oregon Ice Cream Co., PeaceHealth, WorkSource Lane, Professional Credit Service, Rise Services, Inc., Richardson Sports, Robert Half, Three Rivers Casino, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and Yogi Tea.
