LCC special board meeting, April 19

EUGENE, Ore. – The Lane Community College Board of Education will hold a special meeting to hear testimony on budget proposals for 2017/18, on Wednesday, April 19, from 4:30-8:30 p.m. in Building 19, Room 104, Center for Meeting and Learning, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene.

The college faces a $10.7 million budget gap due to more than 15 years of state disinvestment, enrollment decline related to historically low unemployment rates, and increased personnel costs. Proposals to close the gap including program and service reductions and tuition and fee increases.
