Dr. Francies is passionate about helping school districts and educators develop meaningful equity frameworks, establish African American Family Resource Centers, and implement culturally responsive practices. His expertise bridges the gap between schools and communities, fostering environments where all students can thrive. On March 14th at Lane Community College, he will deliver a comprehensive, evidence-based presentation examining the historical origins, evolution, and contextual applications of the N-word. The presentation will include scholarly research, historical analysis, and discussion of contemporary usage across cultural, social, and academic contexts.
