LCC Budget Committee and Board of Education to meet May 7

EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Budget Committee and Board of Education will meet Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in the LCC Boardroom,  building 3, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene. The meetings will also be accessible via Lane's event streaming page.

The Budget Committee meeting will be called to order at 5:00 p.m. The committee will elect a chair and vice chair, review the proposed 2025-26 budget document, accept public comment, and submit information requests as needed. The next meeting of the Budget Committee will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at 5:00 p.m.

The Board of Education meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m., in the same location. Key discussion and action items include: 

  • Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) Alternative Contracting method for Building 12 Public Safety Renovation and Elevated Platform Remediation Project
  • Quarterly financial update
  • Board retreat discussion

Public comment will be accepted at both meetings and may be voiced in person or via Zoom. To submit comments via Zoom, advanced registration is required. A confirmation email will be sent containing instructions to join the webinar. 

At the conclusion of the regular board meeting, the board will meet for an executive session under ORS 192.660(i) to review and evaluate the employment-related performance of the chief executive officer of any public body, a public officer, employee or staff member who does not request an open hearing.
