Eugene, OR - Lane Community College and the Lane Community College Employees Federation (LCCEF) have reached a tentative agreement in economic reopener negotiations.
The agreement includes a 3 percent cost-of-living adjustment for classified staff and updated budget exigency language that provides clarity and fiscal responsibility for the college during potential financial challenges.
"This agreement reflects the productive partnership between the college and LCCEF," said Shane Turner, Vice President for Human Resources at Lane Community College. "Both teams approached these negotiations with a commitment to finding solutions that support our classified colleagues while maintaining the college's long-term financial sustainability."
"Our bargaining team worked diligently to reach an agreement that recognizes the valuable contributions of classified staff," said Tami Hill, LCCEF President. "This outcome demonstrates what we can achieve when both sides come to the table focused on collaboration and mutual respect."
