The Renaissance Room

Enjoy a fine dining experience for lunch in the student-run restaurant, The Renaissance Room! Located inside the Center Building. The Renaissance Room is open during fall, winter, and spring terms.

The restaurant is open to the entire campus population as well as the general public.

Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management Program Curriculum in the Renaissance Room

The Renaissance Room offers valuable restaurant experience for second-year culinary arts & hospitality management students in a real-time laboratory setting. The three terms are divided into focused areas of Advanced Cooking Theories including Garde Manger (the art of the cold kitchen), International Cuisine & Regional American Cuisines.

The Renaissance Room menu changes regularly to feature the regions & focus of study. We offer local, seasonal, and sustainable cuisine whenever possible.  Lunch is $10.00 and includes a choice of soup or salad, entree, and a dessert sampler.  Beverages are $2.00.
