LCC presents “Spring Music Concert Series”

EUGENE, Ore. — Lane Community College Performing Arts is proud to present "Spring Music Concert Series" from June 1 to June 10, to be held at the Ragozzino Performance Hall on LCC’s main campus, 4000 E 30th Ave, Eugene. This anticipated series of end-of-year concerts will showcase the talents of Lane's bands, choirs, and electronic music artists.

The full itinerary of the concert series is as follows:

  • June 1 - An enchanting performance by Lane Symphonic Band at 7:30 p.m.
  • June 5 - A vibrant show by Lane Jazz Combos at 7:30 p.m.
  • June 7 - An exciting collaboration between Lane Jazz Ensemble and Cottage Grove High School Jazz Band at 7:30 p.m.
  • June 8 - A harmonious concert by Lane Choirs, featuring Lowell High School Choir at 7:30 p.m.
  • June 9 - The much-awaited Student Showcase at 12:00 p.m.
  • June 10 - A cutting-edge display of Electronic Artistry at 7:30 p.m.

All performances are free of charge, open to the public and a suggested donation of $5-10 is warmly accepted. All funds raised will go towards music scholarships for Lane students, helping to sustain and enrich our thriving musical community.

Known as one of the top-notch programs in the Pacific Northwest, Lane’s Music program is specifically designed to cater to a diverse group of students, ranging from those intending to major in music at a four-year institution, those seeking to refine their performance skills, to individuals who simply wish to integrate more music into their lives. The program is uniquely tailored to prepare students for a host of careers including professional performer, recording artist, music teacher, music producer, sound engineer, and music therapist, among others.
