Speech & Debate Society is inviting you to join us for the first Interest Meeting for the brand-new Lane Speech & Debate Society. We are a student organization dedicated to helping Lane students build confidence, critical thinking, and communication skills through the art of speech and debate. Join us on Friday, November 7, 2025
11:00 AM – 12:00pm in Center Building Room 202 (SLL office). This meeting will introduce our club’s mission, upcoming events, and leadership team. You will have a chance to:
• Learn what Speech & Debate is and how to get involved
• Meet other interested members and future teammates
• Share ideas for events and competitions
• Help shape Lane’s first-ever Speech & Debate community
All Lane students are welcome — no prior experience required!
