EUGENE, Ore.– Lane Community College plans to offer mostly in-person classes and activities for the 2021-22 academic year.

“As the college continues to monitor the evolution of the pandemic, we are also carefully planning a safe return to in-person classes,” said LCC Provost Paul Jarrell.  “We’ve learned a lot from the challenges of the past year, especially the importance of remaining agile and flexible.  As we move forward with our plans to return to in-person instruction, we will continue to follow the guidelines of state and local health officials and make decisions that continue to prioritize the health and safety of our students, employees, and the community at large.”

LCC plans to be at least at 50 percent of pre-pandemic in-person instruction and support starting fall term 2021, with a goal to reach the “post-pandemic normal” level no later than spring term 2022. Fall 2021 classes begin September 27.
