Academic Progress Standards (APS) support is currently being offered remotely by email or virtual appointment (See below for details).
Alert 4 - is the 4th level in the Academic Progress Standards system.
Should a student not achieve Academic Progress Standards for a fourth term, they will consult with a Lane Retention Counselor to determine the barriers and obstacles interfering with academic progression and completion. Identifying Lane resources and support services, as well as, developing an action plan are key objectives.
Students can register for future classes should no other holds exist. Log into myLane and:
- Choose Enrollment and Student Financial Services/Student Records/View Holds - to confirm the registration hold has been removed
- Choose Enrollment and Student Financial Services/Registration and Books/When Can I Register - to identify registration dates for the following term.
For students with an APS – Alert 4 hold dating to the Fall ’19 term or prior a “Petition to Return” process will be required. Access Moodle with the link provided below to initiate the process.
*If you do not see the APS: Alert 4 Moodle course please email AcademicProgressStandards@lanecc.edu with your full name and L# requesting enrollment.
The Petition to Return will be accepted and reviewed if submitted prior to the start of your term of interest. Any petition submitted after this deadline will be considered for the next subsequent term.
