Strategic Plan

We’ve started working with a consultant on Lane’s 2027–2030 Strategic Plan. We’ll look at where the college is today and hear from students, employees, and community members about what matters most. What we learn will help us identify priorities and shape Lane’s direction for the years ahead.

How we’ll build the plan

1. Phase 1

   Get Clear

   Build a shared understanding of where Lane is and what our community needs.

   1. Complete a landscape synthesis.
   2. Bring the findings to the Board of Education’s strategic planning retreat.
   3. Share the direction with College Council.
   4. Stakeholder engagement activities and surveys.

2. Phase 2

   Get Focused

   College Council coordinates planning cohorts to consider what we’ve learned and develop a focused direction for the plan.

3. Phase 3

   Get Moving

   The proposed plan moves through approval in this order:

   1. College Council
   2. President
   3. Board of Education

   After Board approval, the new strategic plan takes effect.
