"As the STEP career coach for Career Pathways, I work with students who are receiving SNAP benefits and want to further their educational goals or career technical goals helping them work through any barriers that will prevent them from succeeding their goal. My passions have always been helping others and being involved with the community. Currently, a student working to attain my Masters in Social Work concentration in Adult and Mental health, enjoy running, family outings to the coast, hiking and trying to new restaurants! I was raised and born in Hermiston, Oregon, moved to Eugene 6 years ago to finish my B.A at the University of Oregon U of O alumuni (Family Human Services program) and been here ever since."

"I feel very lucky to have found my way to LCC. I’m from a small citrus town in Southern California and joined the U.S. Army at the age of 17. After serving my country as an M1A1 Tank Crew Member I attended Cuesta College and earned an AAS in Social Work. During my time at Cuesta College, I had the opportunity to work for the California Conservation Corps as a staff counselor. I then proceeded to enter a new career as a Construction Superintendent for 14 plus years. Due to my military service, I suffered a few major injuries and through a Veterans, program call Vocational Rehabilitation I was given the opportunity to go back to school. Because of this amazing program, I attended Central Oregon Community College and the University of Oregon. Having earned an AAOT and BS Degree I know how challenging re-entering school can be. My mission is and always will be to facilitate the dreams of students."
