EUGENE, Ore. — The Student Production Association (SPA) of Lane Community College presents “Disastrophy! An evening of Improv,” a live improvisational comedy performed by SPA’s improv group, The Disasters.
The free show will be a live-streamed event shown on June 5 at 7 p.m. Viewers can tune into the stream on spalcc.blogspot.com.
With the help of Eric Braman, this cast of seven LCC students formed The Disasters to combat the isolation of quarantine by bonding through improv and humor. SPA and The Disasters are excited to spread joy to the Lane County community with this night of comedy.
The Student Production Association of LCC produces three full productions annually, offers various workshops to the broader Eugene community, and showcases work from LCC acting classes. SPA is a resource for LCC students to create theater in all its forms and see their work come to fruition in productions.
