Recreational Sports

The Recreational Sports program offers a selection of services at discounted rates for eligible students. These include: community sports, family activities, trips and outings. Recreational Sports special events provides a variety of opportunities for participation in individual and team activities. Eligible Lane students may participate in local athletic leagues at discounted rates. The one-day and weekend events offer an opportunity for social growth and recreational participation in a safe and fun environment. By design, the program is intended to create a climate where everyone is welcome. Participation in the program is voluntary and determined by interest. Please visit the Recreation Office in the Building 5 foyer area for current term offerings. All recreational sports activities are governed by regulations provided in the Recreational Sports Handbook and supervised by the Recreational Sports office.

Community Sports Leagues

Lane students can compete in a variety of adult community recreation leagues around Lane County at a discount. To be eligible, all roster participants must be enrolled in at least one Lane Main Campus credited class during all terms of competition and have paid the applicable "Student Activity Fee". Eligibility will be checked throughout the term. Those interested need to contact the Sports Director (Taya Ream) at 463-5293 or stop by Building #5 Room 204 to pick up the registration packets. 

Drop In Rec

Drop-in's are NonCredit opportunities for students to use some of the facilities throughout the term. Users must still follow all policies and procedures of the area/department. 

Discount Tickets

Recreational Sports Program offers some tickets to some events available for purchase at a discount. A current valid student ID or other proof of current term enrollment is required for participation/purchase. Due to current Covid tickets are limited. Please call 541-463-5293 or stop by building 5 room 204 for questions.
