Global Degree Pathways Start at Lane

Lane is excited to provide global pathways for students to complete their bachelor’s degree in countries around the world! Students will complete a specified associate degree at Lane and then, rather than transferring within the United States, students will complete their degree in another country in as little as one more year. We currently offer three global pathways: International Business 2+1 in France, and Graphic Design 2+1 in New Zealand, Tourism and Business in Australia with more to come!
Global Business Pathway in Rennes, France

Business is consistently rated one of the most popular majors for students all across the world. Our “2+1” partnership with Rennes School of Business, our first global pathways partner, offers you a true international business education. You can experience business up close in two different settings and cultures before you even graduate!

Transfer Requirements
Lane advisers will meet with you throughout your first two years to plan and ensure that you are on track to complete your pre-requisites your first two years. We will also guide you throughout the application process to Rennes School of Business and help you get your visa. Completion of the listed courses will earn a student an Associates of Science Oregon Transfer degree from Lane.
- Completed application to Rennes School of Business by the required deadline in your second year.
- G.P.A. of 2.0 upon graduation

- Non-native English students do NOT need an official English test to enroll at Rennes, but if they have not taken one prior, they will need to pass an English test during their year at Rennes to be granted their Bachelor’s degree.

Students who pursue this global pathway will spend two years studying pre-requisites at Lane Community College before heading across the Pacific ocean to finish their last year of graphic design study in New Zealand!

Global Tourism and Business Pathways in Sippy Downs, Australia

The world of tourism and business is everywhere and all around us. The U.S. and Australia are two of the most visited countries in the world, Students who elect this pathway will have the education and skills to enter the business and/or hospitality work force after completing their program. You will spend two years in the beginning your studies at Lane before making your way down under for your last two!

Global U.K. Transfer Pathways in Carmarthen, Wales or York, England

Of all our Global degree pathways, our partnerships with universities in the U.K. offer the most diverse and varied options. You can choose a program that lasts 3 or 4 years depending on the location and major. Speaking of majors, there are thirteen different options to choose from, ranging from Art &Design to Sports Business Management. Study your first two years at Lane and then explore the enchanting United kingdom while you finish your degree!

Lane is happy to provide multiple options for students wanting to continue their bachelors degree studies in the U. K. Currently Lane has partnered with the University of Wale Trinity Saint David in Carmarthen, Wales and also York St. John University in York, England. Unlike our other global degree options, there are 13 academic program options you can choose from. There will be options to complete your bachelors degree at an accelerated pace in 3 years, or in 4 years. That is in addition to your Associate degree from Lane!

University of Wales Trinity Saint David in Carmarthen, Wales
Dance and Theater "2+1" Pathway
Students can choose to complete either the Associate of General Studies degree (ASG) or the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree (AAOT) at Lane to transfer to University of Wales Dance and Theater programs for a BA in Dance or BA in Acting Degree. Students studying other majors are still welcome to apply but their application will be reviewed individually for transfer.
York St. John University in York, England
Students have flexiblility in choosing either an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree (AAOT) or the Associate of Science Oregon Transfer Degree (ASOT) to transfer to York St.John University. The great benefit is you can be accepted into nearly any major with a one of the completed Lane degrees mentioned above!
