LCC board meeting and annual budget hearing June 1

EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Board of Education meets Wednesday, June 1 starting at 6:00 p.m. in Building 19, Room 104, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene. The meeting will also be accessible via Lane’s event streaming page.

At 6:00 p.m., the annual budget hearing will be called to order for fiscal year 2022-23 budget adoption and appropriation. Public comment on the proposed budget may be voiced in-person or via Zoom. To submit comment via Zoom, advance registration is required. A confirmation email will be sent containing instructions to join the webinar.

Following the budget hearing, the regular board meeting will resume. Discussion/action agenda items include: FY23 budget adoption and appropriation, imposing and categorizing taxes for FY23, PERS bond resolution, President Emerita and Specialized Support Services. Public comment may be made at the regular meeting on any topic. Comment may be voiced in-person or via Zoom using the same registration link as the budget hearing.

Following the meeting, the LCC Board of Education will meet in Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations, ORS 192.660(2)(h) Legal Counsel, ORS 192.660(2)(e) Real Property Transactions, and ORS 192.660(2)(f) Exempt Information.
