Dear LCC Community,
As the holiday season approaches and we close the chapter on Fall 2024, I’m proud to share the strides Lane Community College has made this year. Defined by growth and innovation, 2024 has been a testament to our commitment to students and the broader community.
Since Winter 2023, enrollment has steadily increased, and we are optimistic this positive trend will continue into the new year. We introduced the Welcoming, Inclusive, Safe, and Equitable (WISE) statement, fostering a culture of psychological safety across campus. Additionally, we launched Lane’s strategic vision as a workforce and talent development hub. This initiative is focused on ensuring every student has access to experiential or work-based learning opportunities and on cultivating lifelong relationships through the new LCC Alumni Network.
These milestones represent our dedication to making Lane a place where education meets opportunity. As we look ahead to 2025, we are energized by the momentum and are committed to building on these achievements to serve our students, partners, and community.
