Course Waitlist Notifications
If you request text notifications, Lane Community College may send you messages about seat availability for courses on which you are waitlisted and actions you may need to take.
Admissions and Recruitment Messages
If you opt in to admissions and recruitment text messages, Lane Community College may send you information about academic programs, applying and enrolling, important deadlines, appointments, events and steps involved in becoming a Lane student.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies by service.
For course waitlist notifications, you may receive one seat-availability notification per waitlisted course, along with service messages such as opt-out confirmations.
For admissions and recruitment messages, message frequency varies based on your interactions with Lane and where you are in the application and enrollment process.
Message and data rates may apply. Lane Community College does not charge a separate fee for these messages. Contact your wireless carrier with questions about your text or data plan.
Opting Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message. Because Lane Community College uses multiple texting numbers and messaging inboxes, your opt-out request applies only to messages sent from the phone number to which you reply. To stop messages from another Lane texting number, you must reply STOP to a message from that number separately.
Lane Community College may send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive additional messages from that phone number unless you opt in again.

Lane Community College does not sell or share your mobile phone number or text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
