LCC Board of Education to meet Sept. 6

EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Board of Education will hold its next regular meeting Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the boardroom, building 3, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Ave, Eugene. The meeting will be accessible via Lane’s event streaming page.

Agenda Items include:

  • Public Hearing on an alternative method of contracting for LCC Building 16 Improvement Project
  • KLCC Foundation Board Appointment
  • President’s Goals 2023-2024
  • Board’s Role in a Capital Campaign
  • Board’s Institutional Goals 2023-2024
  • Ad Hoc Committee of the Board
  • Academic Affairs Update
  • Student Affairs Update 

Public comment may be voiced in-person or via Zoom. To submit comment via Zoom, advanced registration is required. A confirmation email will be sent containing instructions to join the webinar.

If necessary, following the meeting, the Board will meet in Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations, ORS 192.660(2)(h) Legal Counsel, ORS 192.660(2)(e) Real Property Transactions, ORS 192.660(2)(f) Exempt Information, and  ORS 192.660(2)(o) - safety and security, and ORS 192.660(2)(p) - cybersecurity.
