LCC Board and Budget Committee meetings May 4

EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Board of Education and Budget Committee will meet Wednesday, May 4, in the main campus boardroom, building 3, room 216, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene. The meetings will also be accessible via Lane’s event streaming page.

The Budget Committee meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. The committee will elect a chair and vice chair, review the proposed 2022-23 budget document, accept public comment, and submit information requests as needed. The next meeting will be Wednesday, May 11 at 5:30 p.m. The annual budget hearing and adoption will be held at the June 1 Board of Education meeting. View more Budget Committee information online.

The Board of Education meeting begins at 6:00 p.m., same location. Key discussion and action items include: a supplemental budget resolution; contract approval and amendments for two capital improvement projects; pension obligation bonds; ACCT Equity Agenda resolution; and a Guided Pathways update.

Public comment may be voiced in person or via Zoom. To submit comment via Zoom, advance registration is required. A confirmation email will be sent containing instructions to join the webinar. 

If necessary, following the meeting, the Board will meet in Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations, ORS 192.660(2)(h) Legal Counsel, ORS 192.660(2)(e) Real Property Transactions, and ORS 192.660(2)(f) Exempt Information.
