Work Requests Frequently Asked Questions

What is the status of my work order?

  • Open MegaMation and login. (If you forgot your login and/or password, see the instructions on Submitting a Work Request).
  • Click “Work Request Search” in the upper left corner.
  • If you know the work order number, enter the Work Order Number and click the “Go” button.
    • An informational box about your work order will pop up with information on the Status and Priority of your work order.
    • Note the Status code.
    • In the upper left corner, select “Work Order Admin Codes,” then select “List of WO Status”
    • If you don’t know the work order number, enter any identifying information you can about the work order in the section below and click “Search.”
      • All work orders that meet the criteria that you entered will pop up and the Status of each of those work orders will show in the Status column.
      • Note the Status code.
      • In the upper left corner, select “Work Order Admin Codes,” then select “List of WO Status”

What is the priority of my work order? 

FMP almost always does the work orders in order of priority, completing all number 1 priority items before moving on to priority 2s, 3s, and 4s.

How are work orders prioritized?

  • 1 or S: Urgent safety or asset protection work orders
  • 2: Classrooms, Preventative Maintenance, Restrooms, Motorpool, Keys
  • 3: Offices, Hallways, Open Areas
  • 4: New campus infrastructure installation
  • 5: Parking lots and outlying areas
  • 6: Deferred projects or long-term planning
