Employee Walk/Jog Groups
Are you looking for a walking partner or group? Or perhaps a jogging buddy?
All employees can join and if you are a classified employee, you have Wellness Release Time for up to one hour each week. You can use this release time for Employee Wellness classes, the Fitness Education Center and these informal walk/jog groups.
Contact any of your following colleagues to join a walk or jog group:
Russ Carr or email@example.com for walking at the main campus
Austin Fisher or firstname.lastname@example.org for downtown walking (he's at the Wildish Building)
Robin Geyer or email@example.com for walking at the main campus
Anna Scott or firstname.lastname@example.org for walking 3x a week for 20 minutes, at 12:30 p.m. (Mon,Wed, Fri preferred days) at the main campus
Cassie Zimmerlee or email@example.com for jogging Wednesdays at noon at the main campus
If you are using your release time, but not participating in an employee wellness class or in the Fitness Education Center, please register for CRN 33536 (the CRN says "Walk/Jog Wellness"). This will help us track who is using the benefit and will support your Employee Wellness Program in continuing to offer classes for you.
