Property Management Pre-Licensure

PROGRAM

7 weeks to a rewarding career!

What you’ll learn

Approved by the State of Oregon Real Estate Agency (OREA), this course gives you the 60-hour education requirement to become a licensed property manager in Oregon.

Short-Term Training

ONLINE

In Oregon, one may only hold one real estate license at a time (either Broker or Property Manager). A licensed property manager can manage rental real estate on behalf of an owner. While holding a property manager license, the licensee may work on their own or with others. A licensed property manager may not assist others during the home buying and selling process. A real estate broker license is the entry-level license that allows a person to conduct professional real estate activity, under the supervision of a principal broker. A broker may help others to buy and sell homes and conduct property management activity, but only under the supervision of a principal broker. To summarize, a broker can do property management only if their supervising principal broker allows them to and a licensed property manager can work on their own without requiring supervision.
