Employee Mental Health Resources

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The employee assistance program through Uprise Health provides employees and their eligible dependents with up to eight free confidential counseling visits per incident per person per year. It also provides four free coaching sessions per person per year.

In the Member Resources section of Uprise Health there are guides, webinars, training and other information material (access code: OEBB). Additionally, online videos are available on the Uprise Health YouTube Channel.

The CHILL: Relaxation Room for Employees

Designed exclusively for LCC employees and staff, The CHILL is your retreat for relaxation and stress relief. Discover a range of soothing activities and amenities, including beautiful puzzles, a serene meditation space, yoga nook, a cozy reading corner, and invigorating happy UV lights. Unleash your creative side with crafts or unwind on massage mats that will melt your stress away. Open anytime Building 19 is open.

TalkLife

TalkLife is a peer-to-peer support community to talk about the ups, the downs and everything in between. Global, anonymous, free mental health support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Register using your @lanecc.edu email address.

Moda Health

For employees enrolled in a Moda medical plan, in addition to the regular coverage provided for mental health services, these additional resources are available:

  • Behavioral Health Champions – Behavioral Health Champions bring all the support and tools you need for mental wellness. They can help you find access to a local mental health professional that’s right for you, assist you in getting the care and support you need quickly and easily, verify provider availability and schedule appointments and make follow-up connections to make sure you have what you need and are getting the care and support you deserve.   • Spring Health - With Spring Health, you can access a range of telehealth services, including mental health therapy, psychiatry, care navigation and digital cognitive behavioral therapy, from your phone, tablet or computer.   • Meru Health - Meru Health's 12-week mobile therapy program is a holistic mental health service that helps members ages 18 and older who are struggling with anxiety and depression. With daily access to a personal licensed therapist through your smartphone, you'll learn proven techniques to help you change unwanted thoughts and habits, mindfulness practices for balancing mood and energy, and get valuable tips to improve your nutrition and sleep. Kaiser

For employees enrolled in the Kaiser medical plan, in addition to the regular coverage provided for mental health services, these additional mobile app resources are available to members at no additional cost:

  • Calm – Calm provides access to more than 100 guided meditations; sleep stories for a deeper, more restful sleep; and exclusive music tracks for focus, relaxation and sleep, all designed to help lower stress and anxiety. Access to the Calm app is available to members who are at least 13 years of age.
     
  • Headspace Care – Available to those 18 years of age and older, HeadSpace Care provides 24/7 text-based emotional support coaching with an emotional support coach, anytime, anywhere. Discuss goals, share challenges and create an action plan with your coach. Texting is limited to 90 days per year. After the 90 days, members can continue to access the other services available on the Headspace Care app for the remainder of the year at no cost.
     
  • myStrength – myStrength is used to build a personalized plan to strengthen your emotional health whenever, wherever you need to. The app includes tools to manage stress, depression, sleep and more by providing access to hundreds of activities, articles and videos. Access to the myStrength app is available to members who are at least 13 years of age.
