Budget News:

• November 2007: For the third consecutive year, the Lane Community College Budget Office received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), the highest award in governmental budgeting. In earning the award, Lane's budget was reviewed by a panel of independent reviewers and determined to satisfy nationally-recognized guidelines for budget presentation. GFOA guidelines are designed to assess how well an entity's budget serves as a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide, and a communications device.
• January 2007 : Lane Community College receives the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its FY 2006-2007 budget from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).
• October 2005: Lane Community College receives the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its FY 2005-2006 budget from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).
