LCC board to meet in Florence for Oct. 18 work session

EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Board of Education will meet for a work session Wednesday, October 18, 2023, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the LCC Florence Center located at 3149 Oak Street; Florence, OR 97439. The meeting will be accessible via Lane’s event streaming page.

Agenda items for the work session include:

  • LCC Florence Center Update
  • Board Policy Overview
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree Type
  • Ethics Training and Affirmation
  • College Governance

If necessary, following the meeting, the Board will meet in Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations, ORS 192.660(2)(h) Legal Counsel, ORS 192.660(2)(e) Real Property Transactions, ORS 192.660(2)(f) Exempt Information, and  ORS 192.660(2)(o) - safety and security, and ORS 192.660(2)(p) - cybersecurity.
